Over 400 Year 7, 8 and 9 students plus dozens of staff completed a sweltering five mile charity walk on Wednesday to raise money for Willink’s good causes including the Moldova development fund.

The atmosphere was fantastic and the students were a real credit to the school and community completing the course around Burghfield in just over two hours. A brave and fit band of staff and students also ran the course.

The walk was planned with military operation – staff and sixth formers manned checkpoints around the route. Water guns were in force to cool hot students down while sweets and biscuits kept energy levels high.
